Nothing is hinting at the release of its upcoming earbuds, with hints of two additional phones in the works too.
A teaser shared on social media today by Nothing announces an April 18 unveiling for a new item. The teaser features a “Play Date” with a yellow frog staring at a beetle.

Right now, we’re not sure what kind of gadget will be shown on April 18 or its appearance, but we’re guessing the teaser image below could be hinting at the upcoming Nothing Ear (3).
Nothing has a unique way of creating excitement for its upcoming tech items using pictures of animals and various beings that appear unrelated. By chance (or not!), the launch of last year’s Nothing Ear (2) was hinted at with a teaser that included, believe it or not, a beetle much like the one in the most recent photo.
So, the frog might symbolize the tech advancement of the Ear (3) compared to its predecessor… or maybe we’re interpreting the nature-themed picture too deeply.
Regardless, we suggest you follow Nothing’s social media on April 18 if you like true wireless earbuds that don’t resemble Apple’s top AirPods but have similar sound quality and are much cheaper.
What do we think?
I think the new product from Nothing, probably the Ear (3), will be super cool. They teased it with a picture of a beetle and a frog staring at each other. It’s weird, but that’s how Nothing does things. They love to surprise us.
Last year, they also used a beetle to hint at the Ear (2). So, this frog might mean the Ear (3) is even better than before. I can’t wait to see it on April 18. If you like good earbuds that aren’t too expensive, keep an eye on Nothing’s announcement.
