In the latest episode of The XboxEra Podcast, the ‘The Rumourmill’ segment mentioned that discussions are happening to launch Helldivers 2 on the Xbox Series X|S platform.
Expand the Community
Helldivers 2 relies heavily on its player community as a live service game. Bringing the game to a new platform and enhancing its crossplay features is an excellent opportunity to grow its player base. This idea was mentioned by ‘Shpeshal Nick’ on the latest XboxEra Podcast:
“We know that PlayStation has a new CEO at the moment, and I think the new CEO might be more open to certain things. And what I’ve heard is that there may be some very, very early, preliminary discussions about the possiblity of Helldivers 2 coming to Xbox.”
What we think?
I think Helldivers 2 coming to Xbox Series X|S would be great for the game. It would let more people play and join the community. The game is already popular on PC and PlayStation 5. If it comes to Xbox, even more players can team up and enjoy the game together.
The new CEO at PlayStation might help make this happen. This move could also make the game’s community bigger and better because players from different platforms can play together.
